We are now on the hunt for an experienced talented Production Co-ordinator who will join the production team in Kilkenny and contribute to the production.


About the role 

The Production Co-ordinator will play an important part in our overall production process and co-ordinate the day-to-day operation of assigned production departments in conjunction with the Production Manager.

Key responsibilities 

  • Assist the Production Manager in departmental scheduling as needed
  • Co-ordinate the day-to-day operation of the assigned departments
  • Maintain close communication with crew regarding their tasks and deadlines
  • Liaise with partners on asset delivery and weekly launch meetings, updating crew and production management team on any updates prior to launch
  • Check and report daily on individual artists progress and highlight delays to Production Manager
  • Populate assets and data into Shotgun or another assigned database if needed
  • Run and update weekly reports for Production Manager & Line Producer
  • Assist the Production Assistant(s) in duties as required
  • Work very closely with the Production Manager, Line Producer and Department Supervisors

General responsibilities 

  • Attend workshops and studio/project meetings as required for effective execution of role.
  • Remain informed and updated on industry/sector developments.
  • Ensure availability on messaging systems and email during work hours.
  • Build and maintain positive and constructive working relationships with colleagues and partners.
  • Treat colleagues and partners with dignity and respect.
  • Be an advocate of the studio’s diversity and inclusivity ethos. 
  • Follow all rules and regulations of employment, as outlined in the crew handbook.

Requirements of the role 

  • A minimum of 2 years animation series work in a fast-paced production department is desired
  • Strong knowledge of microsoft office, including excel and word
  • Knowledge of photoshop with an ability to create design templates a very good asset
  • Working knowledge of shotgun is a major asset but will consider other asset tracking systems as a plus
